Peter Beaupre managed the $2 million upgrade to this historic building in Tahoe City. This structure was built in the 1920’s and was in poor condition. Peter worked with the University of California, Davis to restore the look of the building while also integrating seismic retrofits, maintaining a historic aesthetic while modernizing infrastructure. There was also laboratory space added, as the building is also a research facility. Peter managed the testing of equipment, including the fume hood. The staff of the Tahoe Environmental Research Center are very proud of their revamped facility and now hold many public events there.
